'I'm Ready To Enter 2023 in Full-blown Goblin Mode'—Here’s How To Embrace and Shop the Vibe
If there was one word to describe 2022, it would be "goblin mode." No, really. That's what Oxford chose as their Word of the Year! And if that's the best way to describe the past twelve months, all we can say is we're totally on board with embracing it all the way into 2023.
Oxford has described goblin mode as "a type of behavior which is unapologetically self-indulgent, lazy, slovenly, or greedy, typically in a way that rejects social norms or expectations.” AKA we've been so used to staying home over the last couple of years that it's now our entire personality. Who needs plans when we've got Netflix? Who needs to cook when there's delivery? Who needs shirts with buttons when hooded robes exist?
