Orlando Bloom will soon be tying the knot with American Idol judge Katy Perry, meaning he will shortly have no use for his posh Beverly Hills bachelor pad. So, the Lord of the Rings star has put the residence on the market for $8.99 million, according to toptenrealestatedeals.com.
Located on “Billionaires’ Row” with stunning views of the Los Angeles skyline and the Pacific Ocean, the 4,011-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bath contemporary exemplifies the indoor-outdoor, California lifestyle of the rich and famous.
Built in the 1960s, the home has an open-floor plan, sliding glass walls, and a sunken living room conversation pit with views of the zero-edge pool and spa, and outdoor dining areas.
Bloom's renovations included the new pool, the Ipe wood decking, LED lighting, a fire feature behind the pool and a reconfigured the kitchen open to the dining room.
The British actor will next be seen in the Amazon Prime Video series Carnival Row, premiering later in 2019.
The listing agent for the property is Jason Oppenheim, of the Oppenheim Group, who sold Bloom the house two years ago.
